Calculating the value added of Interreg: EU Regions Week
Thursday, 15 October, 2020
Online 9:30 – 10:30 CET
The Bruegel economic think-tank recently published an analysis of EU funding, which concluded that where regions cooperate, there is unexplained economic growth. To compile the analysis, the team at Bruegel used keep.eu. In this session we will explore how the authors of this article came to these conclusions, and what they mean. We will also reflect on the role of keep.eu and its future, as well as the role of data in understanding cross-border cooperation.
Speakers in this session include:
- Zsolt Darvas, senior fellow, Bruegel, Belgium
- Andrzej Jakubowski, lecturer, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland
- Rafael Agostinho, product and project manager of keep.eu, Interact, Finland
This session is part of Interact's platform at EU Regions Week.
You can watch this session via Replay, on the EU Regions Week website.
