There are many ways to achieve the aims outlined in the EU macro-regional strategy (MRS). Although there cannot be a blueprint or ‘one size fits all’ approach for the MRS implementation, learning about the pros and cons of different implementation structures and further thinking about possible improvements bring new ideas for making impactful change. The best format will always depend on the specific governance contexts and thematic features of a MRS and the understanding of a strategy, e.g. policy coordination platform or some type of a programme.

Module 5 of the "Capacity building programme for capacity builders in the MRS", will focus on exploring impact pathways and acknowledging building relevant activities at micro, meso and macro levels.
