Real-time reporting: fiction or reality?

Real-time reporting enables users to check the status of any project performance at any given moment. Real-time reporting, supported by IT solutions, is gaining interest and provides a number of advantages in a business environment.
It allows you to stay updated with your project, to know almost in real time what progress is made instead of having to wait for the next outdated progress report. Could it also work for Interreg in the next programming period? Some programmes are already there, while others are still contemplating if they should use it.
With this event, ahead of the setting up of procedures in the post-2020 programming period, Interact would like to offer programmes the possibility to share their experience and inspire others, while offering participants the chance to ask questions and to discuss some initial ideas.
This is the first time we will discuss this topic, but we want the discussion to continue. During the event, experienced programmes will discuss the potential of continuous or disentangled reporting and ancillary tools, such as a dashboard.
Meeting Objectives
- Provide a platform for exchange among participants on the solutions developed in the 2014-2020 period.
- Discuss topics and agree on next steps.
- Start a discussion to define ‘nice to have’ versus ‘need to have’ elements and their integration in projected online systems.
