Following up on last culture and creative industries events (Vienna, 5 December 2018 and Valencia, 19-20 September 2019) Interact would like to establish a thematic network in the topic of culture and creative industries (CCI Network).

The network should create a platform for Interreg programmes and projects to exchange their experience and knowledge in the field of culture and creative industries. In addition, we would like to raise awareness of the achievement of Interreg culture and creative industries projects in Europe. We would like to kick of this network with this online event.

The aim of this online event is to give an opportunity for Interreg programmes to discuss and exchange on their current experience with cultural and creative industries projects.

Thereby the focus will be on the transitioning from 2014-2020 to 2021–2027.

We especially would like to highlight:
• How to consider the topic culture and creative industries in the intervention logic (input from DG REGIO)
• Overview and perspective for CCI topics from the side of DG REGIO and DC EAC
• How to use the current experience in the field of CCI in the 2021-2027 (peer review/examples from a programme)
