When talking about “Inclusive Growth”, people automatically think of specific funds devoted to this area, such as the European Social Fund (ESF). But not many of them know that Interreg, ENI and IPA programmes also promote inclusive growth with projects that work hard to increase the quality of the labour market and employment, foster vocational training, or fight against discrimination and poverty.

In this context, the event will have 3 main objectives:

1. To demonstrate the added value of Cooperation programmes (Interreg, ENI and IPA) in the European Social Policy. We will present the Desk Research launched in May 2018 and will discuss it together.

2. To learn more about EU Social Policy:

• We will invite an expert/EU officer to tell us the direction that Europe is taking on social affairs.
• On day 2, we will visit PlurAlps, a project which proves that a good implementation of Interreg funds fosters employment, inclusion and training in the area (Alpine Space).

3. To inform the European Social Policy decision-makers about the added value of Cooperation programmes (Interreg, ENI and IPA). The meeting will be interactive between speakers and audience. For this, questions and answers will be encouraged
