NCP and JS: walking in each other's shoes

Regardless of their physical location, National/regional contact/info points are a resource that help the programmes with promotion and communication activities. They assist the JS and national authorities in the further development and implementation of programmes and serve as the first point of contact for project applicants and partners in the respective countries.
But when it comes to roles and responsibilities between national/regional contact/info points and Joint Secretariats, are they clearly defined to ensure the coherence of the information and services provided to the programmes and involved territories? Moreover, the result orientation approach introduced by the 2014-2020 programming period particularly puts the emphasis on the quality of the interventions to reaching the Interreg objectives and on a better communication of results so far achieved. How are national/regional contact/info points facing this challenge? Are they providing contextual help and content help to applicants and potential beneficiaries for the development of high quality project proposals?
We would like to offer you the possibility to discuss what works, what doesn't and to learn from each other about good practices on how to organise tasks - all with the goal to reduce the workload and implement programmes successfully.
Who is it for?
The event is dedicated to Interreg programmes’ staff from the Joint Secretariats, and national/regional contact/info point whose task is to provide assistance to projects applicants and/or partners during the project generation, application and implementation phases in the respective partner states.
Further information and details of the venue will be given as part of registration process.
