Building on the experience and knowledge of the previous events on intervention logic and the methodology paper, Interact together with the Evaluation Unit organises a session to go through an example of a good methodology paper.

The intention is to help designing a sound methodology. Therefore, we will discuss a concrete example of a methodology paper, by critically and constructively reviewing the different parts of it to get a better understanding of:

• the process of developing a methodology paper
• the structure of the document
• the setting targets and baselines - assumptions, justifications and methods
• the quality features

We will provide the preparatory material before the meeting.

Throughout the event, David Alba (European Commission, DG REGIO, Evaluation and European Semester Unit) will be present and share with us his expertise on these topics.

Target group

The online session is for Interreg MA and JS staff, who are working on the drafting of the methodology paper.
