Interreg Youth Road Show 2022

On the European Year of Youth (2022), we want to put young people's projects in the spotlight. European Territorial Cooperation instrument (Interreg), during 2021-2027, invested 340 million euros allocated to more than 400 projects aimed at giving response to young people living in border regions and larger areas with common challenges such as unemployment, exclusion or health issues. Being South-eastern Europe and the Balkan area one of the most active in these kinds of projects. You can find more information about Youth and Employment Opportunities in Interreg, in this report.
Therefore, and considering that 2022 is the European Year of Youth, Interact, together with 4 other programmes in Southeast Mediterranean ("INTERREG Balkan Mediterranean , IPA CBC “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia, INTERREG "Greece-Bulgaria and ENI CBC Black Sea Basin) are organising in Thessaloniki and Serres the "Interreg Youth Road" next 7 and 8 of November.
For this occasion, a fine group of up to 30 people coming from the European Commission, as well as MEPs, are invited to visit some examples of Interreg projects that illustrate the kind of operations developed for young people in this area focusing on vocational training, employability, and entrepreneurship for young people. During the Youth Road Show, the participants will be able to exchange views with programme authorities, promoters, and the final beneficiaries.
