How to maximise programme achievements

With only three years left to the formal end of the 2014-2020 (2023) programming period, the Interreg programmes have reached the critical stage of their implementation. Most of the resources have already been committed, and programme indicators have almost been reached (or are close to being reached). Yet, many projects are still under implementation, and some of them may generate savings that can be used for enriching programme achievements or filling the gaps where indicators have still not been met. Thus, at this stage of implementation, many programmes are considering different activities to fully use their potential.
Different programmes might apply different solutions, depending on their individual characteristics; nevertheless, several joint limitations remain, such as time, human resources, etc. Therefore, with this workshop we would like to jointly explore what can be done in order to maximise programme achievements, taking into consideration all those limitations.
Objectives
The core objective of the workshop is to exchange experiences on how to get the most out of limited resources and time. We would like to offer you the opportunity:
- to build a joint understanding of the common challenges of the final implementation period, and to exchange on possible measures.
- to discuss and recognise the most appropriate measures in a programme-specific environment to maximise its achievements.
Please note that this workshop is intended for MA/JS staff involved in overall programme management (planning, monitoring and implementation).
