Based on a number of requests from Interreg Programmes and their Monitoring Committee members, Interact organised a workshop to explore the possibilities for improving the quality of Interreg Projects. There is an assumption that there is potential for a substantial improvement in the quality of projects. We wanted to give programmes an opportunity to take a step back and think about what they are really looking for - what kind of projects do we need to support compared to those that have been implemented, and why? 

The target group for this event was experienced staff of Interreg Joint Secretariats and Managing Authorities.

The event was based on presentations that highlight examples of programme practices (i.e., what various programmes are currently doing to improve quality), and facilitated discussions. The outcomes of these discussions are presented in the report "Raising Project Quality", available below.
