This webinar focuses on the basic requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its practical application in Interreg programmes.　

The approx. duration of the webinar will be about 2,5 hours starting from 10.00 AM (CET). 　

The objective of the webinar is to discuss the concepts introduced in the regulation and relate them to the context of an Interreg programme. 　

The webinar will focus on the legal basis offered by the 2021 – 2027 regulations, but also will cover elements such as online meetings and webinars, post-Brexit data protection in the UK, the examples of fines imposed for non-respecting the provisions etc.　

We will discuss the functions and responsibilities of the data processor and data controller, the basis for data processing applicable for programmes as well as the rights of the data subjects.
