Interact is organising the 3rd network meeting for finance officers of Interreg CBC programmes, this meeting will continue the exchange and network activities between the finance staff. The event is designed to create a space for exchange on various finance-related issues, relevant for all cross-border programmes. Participants will gain an understanding and overview of approaches applied by different programmes when tackling financial issues; they will share ideas and work together towards solutions to common challenges.  The main objective of the meeting is to work on simplified costs options currently used and plans to enlarge its usage for post 2020. We will also have a first look and discuss the possibilities of the financial instruments as an alternative policy delivery tool in Interreg world. We would also focus on the future programming period and challenges already foreseen related to financial programme management.

This network meeting is targeting experienced finance officers, working at the joint secretariats/managing authorities of the Interreg CBC programmes. To ensure participation of a wide range of programmes in the network meeting, the participation will be limited to 2 representatives per programme/ Member State (depends on the demand).
