Contact Points (NCP) workshop

Thursday, 4 July, 2019 to Friday, 5 July, 2019
Krakow, Poland

Outline and objectives

This event aims to create a working space for national/regional contact/info points (NCP) colleagues to identify and exchange on common challenges in their daily work and share solutions that can help boost their efforts. This event responds to feedback received from participants at the last event, on the need to organise other workshops targeting NCP of Interreg programmes.

We have adopted a flexible and participant-led approach to prepare the agenda for the workshop. Afterwards we summarised the three “hot” topics to discuss about during this 1.5-day event. We will then focus on the support NCP offer to both programmes and potential beneficiaries and how to bring it a step forward. Namely, how do NCPs assist potential beneficiaries prepare successful project proposals and what is their role in establishing partnerships?

Another topic we will focus is communication and capitalisation. It seems that programmes still struggle to properly communicate their results to the involved territories or in a broader context and they still face difficulties in implementing capitalisation.

Then we will offer an update on post 2020 regulatory framework, the novelties and possible challenges they will bring in programme implementation and leave ample space for an open discussion on how this will affect the NCP’s contribution to both programmes and beneficiaries.

Who is it for?

The event is primarily dedicated to national/regional contact/info points of Interreg programmes, but we welcome also programmes’ staff from JS and MA.

Format of the workshop

The workshop foresees an active contribution from all participants. There will be group work, short presentations to introduce topics and open discussion among participants.
