Interact is making an effort to strengthen coordination and cooperation among Interreg programmes and beyond Interreg. In late 2016 Interact established a Task Force consisting of Interreg programmes aiming to develop and describe practical options for coordination and cooperation. As an outcome of the Task Force work the 'Working document presenting ideas on coordination and cooperation: how can we do it in Interreg?' is developed (see attached).

Following up on the discussions within the Task Force, the upcoming meeting is aiming to discuss how we could improve coordination and cooperation between Interreg programmes and EU wide programmes, such as Horizon 2020 and LIFE, now and in post 2020 period. Is there a potential for complementarities and more synergies?
