The provisions related to the interregional cooperation in Operational Programmes —Article 96.3 (d) of Reg. (EU) No 1303/2013— are concrete tools that allow cooperation activities in the mainstream programmes in all European regions. In order to frame the Interact activities of the follow-up to the work done together with regions until 2011, and as a restart of this pilot, the brainstorming will be aimed at:

• Informing about the previous activities and knowledge available.
• Defining current challenges and needs of Regions willing to use this provision.
• Continuing the network of European regions sharing know-how and experience in the implementation of projects under this provision.
• Defining a strategy and road map of activities for the further research and support to the interested Regions.
