In early 2018 Interact established a working group of coordinators, representatives of the EU macro-regional strategies (MRS) support structures and DG REGIO to elaborate on common capacity building topics to support the implementation of the MRS. The working group is elaborating on three core topics: 

• MRS narrative and messages;
• interdependencies, roles and responsibilities of key MRS implementing stakeholders in delivering MRS;
• ESIF support to MRS (embedding). 

The overall objective of the 8th online working group meeting is to take stock on developments and most recent discussions regarding each of the core topics (above). Besides, the working group will identify cross-MRS relevant topics for further discussion in 2021.
