From theory to practice: Implementation of SCOs

Wednesday, 3 March, 2021
Online 09:00 - 12:30 CET

The 2021 year is in its full swing and so are preparations for the next programming period and deciding on the use of simplified cost options.

We would like to invite you to our SCOs event where you will get to hear about the latest developments and experiences. During our previous events, we have covered a lot of methodological aspects of SCOs: from why choosing a specific SCO to what needs to be done to set it up and how management verifications and controls of SCOs should be done. The focus of this event will be mainly at SCOs implementation: following the programme/project life cycle, together we will identify programme/project procedures, tools and templates affected once SCOs are used (as well as areas of communication). We will also dedicate time to the practical implications of combining different SCOs and exchange on how to avoid double financing when SCOs are used.

We will also provide short updates from other things going on in the SCOs community: e.g., transnational network on SCOs; updates from the HIT and Jems communities. You will learn about programme’s experience in the development of SCOs methodologies for the 2021-2027 programming period. And we would like explore the option of Interreg-wide SCOs.

Target group

Finance/project managers from joint secretariats/ managing authorities of Interreg programmes, working with SCOs.
