SCOs & Staff costs in Interreg

Wednesday, 5 December, 2018
Lille, France

Outline

While Simplified Cost Options (SCOs) were already tested in the previous programming period, they have been taking up to a much larger extent in this programming period. For this, the 'off-the-shelf' options contributed to a significant extent. While at the same time new challenges were faced (change of mind-set, practicalities).

In most Interreg projects, staff costs constitute the largest part of the budget, which also seems to reflect the challenges faced and variety of approaches applied by programmes for this budget line.

Experience so far has shown that the exchange of experience is required and adjustments are necessary.

Objectives

The event will provide the opportunity to actively exchange and explore different practices. Practical exercises and open discussions should help participants gain knowledge and new perspectives.

The event does not target communicating 'right' or 'wrong' approaches, but aims to provide a platform for exchanging practices and to allow for new insights into what Interreg programmes do.

Who is it for?

The event is dedicated and limited to Interreg programmes’ staff from the joint secretariats from Interreg Europe, Interreg North West Europe, Interreg 2 Seas and Urban Innovative Actions.

Participation is upon invitation only.
