A new element for the next programming period in the control cycle requires that management verification are carried out based on a risk-based sampling methodology, which has to be decided ex-ante (art. 68(2), future CPR) (please note, that this is the current proposal and that the Regulations are not yet final, but only considered stable).

For Interreg this represents a significant change, compared to the current programming period, where most programmes and Member States verify 100% of the reported expenditure.

Against this background, Interact invites for an online event focusing on this new element.

We invite staff from managing authorities and joint secretariats, national controllers and approbation bodies and other interested stakeholders from Interreg programmes.

The workshop foresees active contributions from all participants. We will be working in groups with only brief presentations to introduce topics or practices.
