This event intends to bring together managing authorities of Interreg programmes (incl. IPA-CBC and NDICI programmes) and create a space for programmes to exchange on how to approach management verifications in 2021-2027. We will have with us a representative from the EC who will guide participants through the legal requirements.

Participants will get a chance to exchange on the process of the methodology development and will hear from Interreg programmes that have already developed their methodologies for risk-based management verifications. We will discuss how the management verifications work of the MA is different to the audit work performed by the AA. In addition, we will try to identify areas which bring questions/ raise concerns when it comes to risk-based management verifications.
