Re-use & Transfer of Results Workshop

Based on the recent outcomes and publications from Interact, namely the Capitalisation Management Guide (link below) and the Guidelines on Cooperation under IJG goal 2020+ (link below), it is a common trend for Interreg Programmes to establish concrete methods to make this re-use & transfer of results happen.
For several years, implementation of Capitalisation activities in Interreg has led to a due reflection on the results produced by thousands of financed projects:
- which Interreg project results can be re-used?
- How can these results be upscaled and properly transferred’ to other frameworks/funding instruments?
- How can Interreg results be helpful for the improvement of public policies?
- What ‘type of result’ may constitute a valuable contribution in this sense? A policy paper, an action plan, but also a monitoring methodology?
During the current programming period 2014-2020 many Interreg Programmes have already adopted their specific capitalisation approaches aiming at the “transfer or mainstream of good practices into regional and local policies”, in order to maximise the impact of Interreg cooperation.
However, approaching the 2021-2027 programming period a new trend is strongly targeted by the new regulations and programmes started increasingly to care about the genuine fruits of their projects (results) that could be spread, disseminated, and cross-fertilise other funding frameworks and instruments in order to influence and improve public policies at national/regional level; it is called “Mainstreaming of Interreg results”.
That’s why Interact is aiming at organising this workshop:
- To explore the definition and sense of results to be transferred,
- To identify good practices already implemented by Interreg programmes and stakeholders,
- To clarify the linkages between “Capitalisation” and “Mainstreaming”,
- To identify the main features for successful methods aimed at the re-use&transfer of results.
This workshop foresees a very active interaction among participants. Please be ready to share and present your experience as well as concrete case studies or ideas.
