Public procurement in Interreg
Interact organises the upcoming workshop on public procurement (PP) in cooperation with colleagues from DG Regio for the Interreg, Interreg-IPA cross-border and ENI CBC programmes. The event is open for all authorities and programmes bodies — Managing Authorities, Audit Authorities, Joint Secretariats, National Authorities, National Contact Points, National Control.
We all know that, usually, when launching an acquisition, we deal with questions such as which elements of the public contracts we must handle carefully to avoid errors. Luckily, we do not need to be lawyers or key experts to deal with public procurement. It is sufficient to know where to find the key information, observe the fundamental principles on public procurement, and apply the right mindset to avoid errors.
Thus, the workshop aims to provide theoretical knowledge and practical experiences to ensure efficiency in implementing and monitoring public contracts and finding the right balance in setting the ex-ante and ex-post verification of public procurement. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and explore unclear aspects concerning public procurement, especially now, while preparing internal procedures and specific guidelines for the programme and project management staff, controllers and beneficiaries in the new financial period.
We encourage participants to share any questions concerning the topic.
The agenda will be published in the coming days.
