Since 2013 Interact is organising networking meetings of Interreg Transnational programmes’ Managing Authorities/Joint Secretariats and Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) regarding support to the EU macro-regional strategies (MRS). The Programmes have been exchanging on support for the MRS, sharing approaches, experiences and lessons learnt. Besides, these meetings allow the Programme representatives to jointly discuss, develop and this way to improve the support provided to
the MRS. This informal meeting will facilitate exchange on the programming updates and briefly present the main points stressed in the Council conclusions on the implementation of EU macro-regional strategies and main points highlighted.
