Building on the ideas put forward by participants in the launch of the network in June 2017 (report), Venice in November 2017 (report) and Zaragoza in 2018 (report), Interact is organizing a third meeting of the thematic network on climate change and risks, in order to help reaching common understanding of the topic and all related issues and implications for Interreg Programmes.

The objective for this meeting is to learn more about EU policies regarding climate action and risk prevention both on EU and regional level. We will provide a training on climate change related measures by a relevant expert, and facilitate a debate on common challenges faced by Interreg programmes.  

For the second day, we will organize a site visit to an Interreg funded project on fire protection cooperation in the Romania-Serbia border. Please check the video summary of the visit.
