Learn about Interreg Projects on Climate Change!
Climate change affects us all beyond national and regional borders. To face it, we must work together collaboratively. The European Union facilitates this cooperation through a series of initiatives and programs whose content is the promotion of R + D + i in the fight against climate change. Each of these programs offers funding opportunities to develop and implement specific projects related to climate change. One example is the territorial cooperation programs, known as INTERREG programs, which offer opportunities to participate in projects with other European partners (research centers and public authorities) where they can develop and implement specific activities related to climate change.
On June 15 2018, the Climate Change Chair of the Universitat Politècnica de València (IIAMA), promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana (Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development), organizes, together with the INTERACT office in Valencia, an event with the objective of presenting how the European Union funds help to finance innovative projects on impacts, adaptation and / or mitigation of climate change.
We will show concrete examples of relevant projects and offer information on how to participate in current research opportunities with European partners and access the available funding.
