Jems launch event!
It is here – the day the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) comes to life!
Through the agile methodology, Interact has developed Jems with extensive user testing and feedback. This means we are confident the first release has the features needed to enable programmes to launch quickly and effectively, using an online system and without the need for additional paper processes.
The new harmonised system is built using the collective knowledge of Interreg and from the HIT 2021 – 2027 templates. In using Jems, programmes have greater confidence in compliance with the new regulations and, as it is available on a free-license basis, Jems also saves programmes time and money.
The software launch is a key moment in the preparation for the sixth Interreg programming period. Once programmes have downloaded and tested Jems they will be able to launch their first calls confident in having support from the harmonised monitoring system – before the regulations are even finalised.
The first license agreement has already been signed, and Interact looks forward to more programmes signing up in order to download the new software. They will be supported by Interact’s dedicated in-house Jems Helpdesk, as well as peer-to-peer support.
Join us for the exciting launch of Jems, as we look at the specifications of the first release, and the timeline for further updates and additional features. We will also review the legal, procedural and technical steps programmes are required to take to set up Jems. We will also navigate you through the communication and support environment, which are significant improvements compared to what could be offered to support the original eMS.
