An introduction to using Plain Language

Thursday, 16 December, 2021
Online 09:00 - 12:00 CET
  • Does reading complicated language sometimes confuse you?
  • Wouldn't it be nice to get a bigger return for the time you invest in writing, by presenting your message to your readers in a more direct way?
  • Do you always write clearly and plainly for your readers?

This training will introduce you to the differences between heavy and plain writing styles, and provide you with tools and takeaways you can use to make your writing clearer and more reader-friendly.

You will have the chance to take part in activities that put the guidelines into practice. In addition, each of you will be offered a Plain Language edit of one text you write, after you have completed the training.
