HIT 2021-2027 Application Form - Questions and Answers, 2nd meeting

Tuesday, 10 November, 2020
Online 13:00 - 15:30 CET

Practical approaches for implementation of project intervention logic and simplified cost options in Interreg

This meeting is a re-run of the first meeting held in June, and provides another opportunity for those interested in the HIT 2021-2027 Application Form.

Harmonisation of practices in Interreg programme- and project management started many years ago, and it continues while we are preparing for the next programming period. In the current period (2014-2020), Interreg programmes harmonised implementation tools (templates and guidance documents) used for the selection and monitoring of Interreg projects. The HIT tools are: application form, assessment criteria and checklists, progress report, management verification templates.

In 2019, the process of developing HIT for the 2021-2027 period started. A HIT Core Group has ben established, consisting of representatives of 25 programmes from all strands. This group has already met several times. Its task is to update and optimise the HIT tools from 2014-2020. The focus is on changes required by the regulatory framework, and simplification for projects and programme bodies.

Tools (mainly the application form) used in the project selection process will be available as final drafts by May 2021. To enable the smooth implementation of these tools, we are inviting all Interreg programmes, including IPA CBC and ENI programmes, to an online Question and Answer session, where we will explain the underlying approaches used in HIT tools. Participants will have the opportunity to ask detailed questions and discuss potential challenges in project selection in the next period.

Online event objectives

  • To explain the agreed approaches in HIT tools
  • To reply to questions programmes might have about the HIT tools and their use, including flexibility options
  • To promote Harmonised Implementation Tools for the 2021-2027 period

This event is for you, if you are or will be responsible for preparing the implementation tools for the 2021-2027 period in your Interreg programme.
