To work on the relation and interaction between the Territorial Agenda 2030 (TA 2030) and Interreg (programmes and projects), Interact established an informal Focus Group bringing together representatives from Interreg programmes, territorial actors and stakeholders. With the aim to develop and to communicate a narrative why and how individual cooperation projects and programmes can play a crucial role in and benefit from contributing to the implementation of the TA 2030.

At its first meeting on 9 June, the Focus Group identified first key elements of a truly territorial cooperation project. The upcoming meeting now aims at identifying the linkages between Interreg and the TA 2030 throughout the Interreg programme and project life-cyles - and to work on a territorial interpretation of most common selection criteria.
