Certifying authorities network meets on an annual basis to exchange on needs and challenges related to the current stage of implementation.

Since we are currently in the transition period to 2021-2027 where the certifying authority (CA) is transformed into the accounting function and where the CA continues to perform its functions related to the 2014-2020 programmes, there is a need to exchange on different topics related to the financial management of both programming periods. The agenda gives an overview of topics planned to be picked up at the meeting. However, this list of topics is not exhaustive, and participants are strongly encouraged to indicate topics of their interest to be brought up at the network meeting in the registration form. Thus, the agenda items remain subject to adjustment, in line with the information collected from the participants during the registration.

NB: Participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the roadmap to the assurance package 2021-2027 to make exchanges during the network meeting more efficient.

Objectives

The main objective of the meeting is to work on several subjects related to the financial management of the 2014-2020 and 2021-2027 programmes. These subjects can include the closure of 2014-2020 and the setting up of the accounting function for 2021-2027.

Target group

This network meeting is targeting certifying authorities and managing authorities of Interreg programmes responsible for the accounting function in 2021-2027.
