Brainstorming for an Interreg unit cost for events

Wednesday, 12 May, 2021
Online 09:30 - 12:00 CET

The idea for a unit costs for events for Interreg projects has been discussed at several meetings over the past two years and many programmes have shown interest in applying such a simplified cost option. To take it a step further, having such a unit cost available for all Interreg projects (modulated at country level) would bring many benefits to programmes and projects. Not only would the rules across programmes be harmonised, also the life of beneficiaries would benefit from such a joint approach. However, so far, the identified challenges have been significant and it was not possible to come to a joint proposal.

This is why Interact proposes a brainstorming session with interested programmes to discuss and evaluate the given possibilities and to see if common ground can be found for definition and set-up of such a unit costs.

The event targets staff from managing authorities and joint secretariats of Interreg programmes which are interested to implement a unit cost for events. Please note that we are not going to talk about any basic information with regard to simplified cost options and we will exclusively focus on designing a unit cost for events. Moreover, this event is planned as very interactive, so please be prepared to share views and ideas when joining.
