9th cross EU macro-regional strategies (MRS) working group "Common Capacity building framework for MRS" is meeting to discuss MRS implementation formats. Currently, there is no cross-MRS harmonised description of what MRS are doing. It hampers MRS implementation and creates misunderstandings. Building on experiences and respecting current approaches and definitions, the working group will brainstorm what improvements are needed to elaborate on this topic.

Capacity building working group is the MRS representatives' initiative. It is elaborating cross-MRS relevant experience-based suggestions from the capacity perspective of the MRS implementation. Proposals elaborated by this group are presented in appropriate MRS forums for further considerations.

This group is an informal MRS process-driven discussion forum. Its core values are capacity; knowledge and skills; experience; leadership, and development.
