Many Interreg programmes have started with the preparation of their future programmes. They are now developing the programme's strategy taking into consideration a multitude of important documents like the new legal framework, territorial analysis, border orientation papers, stakeholder consultation, financial framework partnership agreements, etc.

Together with colleagues from DG REGIO, Interact is organising a meeting to address the specificities and implications that the new regulatory framework has for Interreg IPA programmes and for other Interreg programmes supported by the IPA III financing instrument.

The aim of the event is twofold:

• Highlight the new context for the Interreg IPA programmes; and
• Offer room for policy discussion and exchange on how to support Interreg IPA programmes in the most efficient and effective way during the last steps of their 2021-2027 programming process.

Please note that during this event we will NOT discuss the interpretation of the Interreg regulation. This was extensively done during our “What's new in 2021-2027” events organised on the 14th and 20th of April.

The target group of the meeting are managers from Joint Secretariats, Managing Authorities and National Authorities involved in the preparation of the 2021-2027 Interreg IPA programmes. Other Interreg programmes are nonetheless welcome.
